Etsy Craft Party Comes to Houston!

Happy Birthday to Esty! As part of a string of craft parties across the nation, Sew Crafty (along with Etsy Houston) is hosting a craft party on Friday June 18th from 8 - 11 p.m. The event is totally free and open to everyone - bring a friend and craft together!
Sold - How can I RSVP? Visit the Meetup site and click “I’m Interested!” so that Houston can stay in the Top 50 cities! Even if you’re not sure right now that you can go, but you’re still interested in attending, you can help Houston stay on top by clicking - if w’re a top 50 city Etsy will send us all kinds of goodies to give to attendees!
What can you expect:
**Food (yum!) and drinks (Thank You Saint Arnold - seriously peeps, have you tried their root beer? The best in the world. No joke - the best! They have it at Kroger - go grab a 6 pack, I’ll wait…)
**A variety of craft projects - check out all the details on what and what you need to bring, here!
**Lots of fun new people

St. Arnolds real beer too? Nothin’ like a pint or two to help the creative go forth

Amen to that Susan! And YAY Sarah - can’t wait to see you there!

Isn’t that a little unethical? Telling people to RSVP even if they aren’t coming? Texas has 5 Etsy parties in the top 50 right now: Austin, Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth & San Antonio. I doubt many other places have the talent to put up 10% of the parties but Texas can. Don’t ruin it for everyone by doing something we all know is wrong. Get your RSVPs honestly.

Whoa! First, good morning to you friend with no real email address! I don’t know how to alert you that I have replied, but I assume that folks who leave messages like this come back to see the aftermath. So hello again!
Second, I would never want to do anything unethical or hurt other crafters - we are not in any way trying to stack the deck, but we do want as many people as possible to check out the event and attend. Maybe I misspoke in the way I worded the invite, but we want people to come - not click “I’m Interested” when they have no interest in coming! [NOTE: I have reworded the info above so that it’s more clear what we mean: if you want to come, but not totally sure if you can just yet]
So sorry that you misunderstood or that you have a bone to pick with me or Sew Crafty or Etsy Houston or Houston or Texas (NOTE: we have a ton of talented, excited crafters here - Texas is a big state) - we’re a bunch of good, hardworking people and want to enjoy this Etsy party too.
You’re welcome to come to our event and meet us - maybe it would help you like us a bit more than you seem to :o)
